Fall 2008 admitted student information
Congratulations on being admitted to the College of Public Programs at Arizona State University for the Fall 2008 semester!
Orientation for first-time freshmen enrolling from high school
By now, you should have received a call from the College about Orientation. Orientation is a one-stop shop for registering for your Fall 2008 courses, meeting with your academic advisor for your major, and also going on a campus tour and seeing the Downtown Phoenix Campus first-hand. For the College of Public Programs, Orientation is highly recommended for new ASU students but it is not required. If you have not signed up for orientation, visit New Student Orientation (by clicking here) or call (480) 965-2880.
If you cannot attend Orientation, don't panic. You can still schedule an appointment with your major's academic advising staff and go on a campus tour. Find your advisor's contact information here: https://copp.asu.edu/sweb/do/students/nuts-and-bolts.
Orientation for transfer students
If you are a transfer student from a community college or other university, your Orientation is entirely online. The link is here. Make sure to bookmark the page and return to it frequently to ensure that your transfer to ASU is as smooth as it can be.
Campus tours
Tours are given by ASU staff every Monday and Friday (a complete schedule is here); however, the College of Public Programs Student Ambassadors can schedule a individual campus tour with you! To schedule a tour with the Student Ambassadors, please e-mail copperstar@asu.edu with "Tour" in the subject line and your preferred times in the body of the e-mail. Alternatively, you can call (602) 496-StAR (7827) to schedule a tour.
I still have questions. What do I do?
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to e-mail copperstar@asu.edu or call the Student Ambassador hotline at (602) 496-StAR (7827). We look forward to hearing from you!
